Hydrous Ointment BP, also known as Oily Cream, contains a relatively larger amount of oils compared with other emollients.
It works as a moisturiser by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin, preventing the evaporation of water and therefore prevents the skin from drying out. Hydrous Ointment BP contains Wool Alcohols (Lanolin), Oils and water.
Hydrous Ointment BP is acetylated to remove any impurities which may cause allergies. Also is it Colour and fragrance free. Soothes irritated skin.

Used to soften and moisturise dry, flaky or irritated skin.
Hydrous Ointment BP use as an Emollient: Apply liberally and as often as required to the affected area.
As a Soap Cleanser: Apply to skin, message gently and rinse well alternatively use a warm flannel and rinse.
As a bath additive: Melt in hot water in a suitable container, then admixture to the bath. Suitable for frequent use.
